Privacy policy
Last updated: 13 August 2026
1. Overview
PowerLearn is a learning app. You can browse courses, sign in, study lessons, and — if your account allows it — create courses from text or files you provide. This policy explains what stays on your device, what is sent to our servers, and how to contact us.
2. Camera and sensors
The app does not use the camera, microphone, or location. Optional read-aloud uses the device’s built-in speech features on your device and does not record your voice.
3. Photos, files, and sharing
If you create a course, you may upload documents or images. That content is stored so the course can be generated and shown. If you share a course or certificate using your device’s share sheet, that share is started by you; we do not send the content to other people for you.
If you sign in with an identity provider, we may receive your name, email address, and profile photo from that provider.
4. What is stored on your device
The app may keep a language preference and a local copy of learning progress so the experience works if the network is slow. Sign-in may also keep a session on the device. This on-device data is not, by itself, a transfer off the device.
5. What we collect off the device
When you use the online service, we collect:
- Account details (such as email, name, and user ID)
- Learning activity (progress, quiz and exam results, certificates)
- Course materials you upload or write, and courses you publish
- Basic usage data (pages and actions) to understand how the app is used
- Technical logs needed to run and secure the service
We do not collect precise location, your contacts, or payment card numbers. The app does not show ads and does not use an advertising ID.
Studying published courses does not require a paid purchase in the app. Some creation features may be limited by an account balance that we grant; there is no in-app store checkout.
6. Other services we use
We use other companies to sign you in, host the app, store files, measure usage, and process content you submit so a course can be created. They only receive what is needed to provide those services. The operating system may also process data (for example, when you choose an account or share a link).
7. Retention
We keep account, progress, and course data while your account is active and as needed to operate the service. Server logs are kept for a limited time for security and reliability. When you ask us to delete your account, we delete or de-identify personal data we hold, unless we must keep a record (for example, to meet a legal duty or to resolve a dispute).
8. Children
The app is intended for people aged 13 and older. It is not directed at children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13. If you believe a child under 13 has created an account, contact us and we will delete it.
9. Your rights and choices
You can sign out in the app. You can ask us for a copy of your information, to correct it, or to delete your account. There is no in-app delete-account button. Follow the steps on Delete your PowerLearn account, or email sunrisesaturday30@gmail.com. You can also stop using the app and uninstall it at any time.
10. Learning content
Some courses may cover health or professional topics for learning only. The app is not a medical device and does not diagnose, treat, cure, or prevent any medical condition. It does not provide medical, legal, or other professional advice.
11. Changes
We may update this policy. The “Last updated” date at the top will change when we do. Continued use after an update means you accept the revised policy.
